Open Source Group Calendaring
"The State Of Affairs"
David A. Desrosiers

Synopsis: In a predominantly Microsoft Windows desktop environment we have a Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Outlook clients connecting to it to satisfy the enterprise needs for group scheduling, team management, and calendaring, and overall groupware use.

This is a place where Linux is lacking - Groupware. This includes Group Calendaring, Team Scheduling, Project Management, and other functions of interaction between team and project members, or just between interacting coworkers in the enterprise.

Our goal is to discuss what's out there, what can be done to leverage it. How can we reduce the complexity and overlap, while decreasing the time to deliver a solution? How do we leverage more tools for developers to branch new and exciting competing projects?
